Description

Set up in 2005, the association is made up of winemakers from the Balearic Islands. It represents members who have difficulty accessing markets individually.

In general, the members are family wineries, run by people whose ancestors have been involved in the harvesting of vines for centuries. Others have become viticulturists because of their love of wine, taking advantage of the ideal conditions found on the Balearic Islands.

Wine of Origin or ‘Denominación de Origen’ (D.O.) in Spain, guarantees the origin and quality of wines. The D.O. regions represented in Mallorca are: Binissalem, Pla i Llevant and Vins de la Terra, offering wines characterised by tradition, variety and excellence
